How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses a series of thin, clear mouthguards called aligners to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. Each aligner is worn for 2-3 weeks and then swapped for the next one in the series to gradually move the teeth. Once that position has been achieved, the treatment is completed. Of course, as with any orthodontic treatment, retainers must be worn for a period of time afterwards to keep the teeth in place.
