Caring for aligners during your treatment is simple. Remove the aligners to eat and drink. Brush your teeth before placing the aligners back in the mouth. Clean the aligners with cold water, tooth brush and plain soap before placing them back in your mouth. Do not use hot water, do not boil your aligners or wash them in the dishwasher as the they will distort with heat. Once a week you can soak the aligners in diluted white vinegar for 20 minutes to remove any hard deposits. Make sure you give them a thorough rinse with cold water before placing them back in your mouth. Lastly, always store your aligners in the protective case when they are out of your mouth to avoid losing or breaking them.
